ABOUT THE POSTAL STRIKE IN BRITAIN
EMERGENCY DISTRIBUTION ARRANGEMENTS THAT WE HAVE MADE
Monday 26 October 2009 18:37
The following World Reports Limited intelligence publications that are in production and close to completion at the date of this posting, are liable to fall victim to the postal strikes in Britain:
• Global Analyst, Volume 3, Number 3.
• Soviet Analyst, Volume 31, Numbers 4 & 5.
• The Latin American Times, Volume 21, Number 2.
• Arab-Asian Affairs, Volume 33, Number 2.
• Arab-Asian Affairs, Volume 33, Number 3.
• Arab-Asian Affairs, Volume 33, Number 3.
Therefore, special arrangements are being made to PHYSICALLY TRANSPORT these mailings to the Continent, so that all non-UK deliveries will be initiated at a non-UK Post Office. This should ensure prompt delivery as soon as the issues have been mailed. The brief downside is that some of the publications are having to be held back for a few days so that the entire batch can be handled by this means in one operation. Your patience given this state of affairs is appreciated.
We haven't decided what to do about UK domestic deliveries yet. But we will find a solution to this problem as well. The outlook for the Royal Mail is clouded, amid the overall political attacks that are taking place against the United Kingdom generally.
