Introduction This software is the platform application for the settings to be configured by device administrators. ******************************************************************** 2. System Requirements Computer: PC-AT compatible machine CPU: Same as specified for your operating system. Memory (RAM): Same as specified for your operating system. Hard Disk: 100 MB of available hard-disk space Display: 800 x 600 pixels or higher Supported operating systems: Please refer to attached "Appendix1_OS_SupportInfo.txt". - Please use the latest version of each operating systems. - There may be notes/restrictions depending on your operating systems. Please refer to "5. Notes and Restrictions" for additional information. Network Environment: TCP/IP protocol should be set up correctly. Other requirements: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (SP1 or later) and .NET Framework 4.5 or later* *Both versions of .NET Framework are required. The version of .NET Framework that is installed to your computer can be checked from Control Panel. For more information about installing (or enabling) .NET Framework, please refer to the User’s Guide or the Microsoft website. ******************************************************************** 3. Installing and Uninstalling the Application - See the User's Guide. - After upgrading to a newer version, you can select [File] > [Device List] > [Import from previous version] to import the Device List of the previous version. - If Device Set-up is reinstalled in a different location after being uninstalled, the plug-in applications will not be available. If you change the installation location of Device Set-up, you must reinstall all plug-in applications. ******************************************************************** 4. Checking the Version in the Application When "Version Information" is selected from the "Help" menu, an information dialog box appears. ******************************************************************** 5. Notes and Restrictions - It may take some time to launch the application. In such a case, please perform the following steps. 1) Launch Internet Explorer 2) Open Internet Option under tools menu. 3) Open Advanced tab and turn off the following setting. "Check for server certificate revocation" - When "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated" is enabled at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista, it is not possible to uninstall program by using "Programs and Features" of Control Panel.
